Charlene At The London Olympics

Princess Charlene was at the London Olympics last week, and watched her friend Chad le Clos win a gold medal in the 22 metre butterfly – beating none other than Michael Phelps.

Charlene was herself in the South African Olympic swimming team, competing in the 2000 Sydney games, and held a training camp in Monaco just before London 2012 – with impressive results.

Monaco Royals Visit Mercedes-Benz

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene recently toured Germany, and during their trip visited the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart.

Of particular interest were the classic cars – Mercedes is a regular participant in the Monaco GP – and for the future the work being done on sustainable vehicles.

Monaco Royal Loses Press Battle

In a decision made this week, the European Court of Human Rights rejected Princess Caroline’s argument that a photograph published of her and her husband violated their privacy.

Charlene In South Africa

Princess Charlene arrived back in her homeland of South Africa today for three days, her first visit since her wedding earlier this year.

She’s there because of the UN Climate Change Conference, and on Friday will be meeting Archbishop Desmond Tutu, to discuss her future charity work.
