Princess Charlene was at the London Olympics last week, and watched her friend Chad le Clos win a gold medal in the 22 metre butterfly – beating none other than Michael Phelps.
Charlene was herself in the South African Olympic swimming team, competing in the 2000 Sydney games, and held a training camp in Monaco just before London 2012 – with impressive results.

Lewis Hamilton has moved from Switzerland to Monaco, joining other Grand Prix drivers who live in the Principality.
Eyebrows were raised when he decided upon Switzerland over Monaco as many people, including those who know him, felt he would be easily bored there.
Talking about his move he said that the social life and weather were two of the factors that helped him decide upon Monaco.
He won the Monaco Grand Prix in 2008, and hopes that racing on a circuit he will get to know better will improve his chances of a repeat performance.

Monaco is abuzz with news that Friday’s wedding between Charlene Wittstock and Prince Albert might not go ahead.
The rumours started after a French magazine claimed that Charlene tried to flee to South Africa last week, when she found out Albert had another illegitimate baby – who is reportedly 15 months old.
But while the world’s press speculate on whether Charlene will turn up for the wedding on Friday, the palace issued a statement robustly denying the claims and Prince Albert’s lawyer confirmed he will be taking legal action against the French magazine, adding that all is well and he was with them in Paris just three days ago.
Guests at the wedding are to include BHS boss Philip Green, Sir Richard Branson, Naomi Campbell, countless European Royals and Giorgio Armani, who has designed Charlene’s wedding dress.
Our money is on the wedding going ahead.
